April
* testified in two custody trials, once for a dad and once for a mom
* attended the Women of Distinction luncheon where my friend was named WOD for Montgomery County
* spent a very enjoyable 3-day weekend in Waco, Troy, Austin and San Antonio visiting family
* took a very resistant mother to the dentist after she begged me to and then changed her mind as the appointment time approached (fear)....doctor discovered the mouth pain was coming from a bridge wire that had come loose and was cutting into the inside of her lap
* mother is now very happy and bragging to everyone that she went to the dentist and is now eating without pain
* Spent a Saturday at The Woodlands Art Festival, both to enjoy the art and to support a budding artist friend who was exhibiting his work for only the second time
* attended baseball games for two grandsons who excel at the sport
* enjoyed lovely evening in upscale restaurant listening to old friend's band play

May
* completed a sexual betrayal recovery training for couples in crisis
* must be blessed as I've been on the communion serving team 3 times since January
* served as voting elder at an area wide presbytery meeting
* had a nice Mothers Day
* attended the Dave Gibson Dinner which recognizes exceptional integrity and professionalism by an attorney
* completed afternoon training on protecting chidren in the judicial system
* Happy Days musical last evening at TUTS Hobby Center was a little disappointing (re boring) but the actors who played Fonzie and Mr & Mrs Cunningham were great!
* visited with some of my fabulous women friends at a salad luncheon today
* took 8 moving boxes of almost perfect condition hardcover books to half-price books today and got a very disappointing $75 for the lot
* most of those books came from the upstairs bookcases in the walk-over which is where we are moving my art studio
* saw the new Angels and Demons movie this evening - I loved Da Vinci Code and this one is just as intense - been waiting for it to open which it finally did yesterday
