Hard but short work week, followed by the packing process (why does it get harder as I get older!?), and finally in the car. ROAD TRIP! Arrived in Austin last evening, spent very fun evening with daughter after her Monavi gathering, laughed harder and more than I can ever remember right up to having to open the car door and spit out a mouthful of Monavi which then put everyone else in stitches! Raucous laughter!

This morning it is 102 degrees so naturally the guys all headed to the golf course (uh-huh) and the females are all heading to the air-conditioned mall. It's daughter's birthday weekend so first stop is picking up her gift. She loves the FireProof materials (about 'fireproofing' your marriage) and then we'll head for lunch then meet everyone back at the house. Also celebrating grandson's 15th birthday - he's one of the guys on the golf course this morning. He's getting a series of golf lessons as his gift which he has wanted for so long - will get his gift at this afternoon's party. Can't wait to see his face!

Plan is to head up to Dallas this evening some time....
