The knock came and little Steven entered and I fell in love again. He is so sweet-natured - his siblings are nurturing and attentive and of course he has wonderful parents. He doesn't know it yet but I think he may just be going to have four 'parents.' :) Loved cuddling with Steven and hanging out with J&J.

It must be noted that the hotel we stayed at in Dallas was only two weeks old. Granite counters, hardwood floors, full size fridge / microwave /dishwasher and two closets! I do so love the smell of NEW! After dinner, we drove over to the theatre next to the hotel to see Star Trek (finally). Terrific.

This morning, as we were leaving to head north for Oklahoma City, it began to rain! It's been so long since Houston has had rain, we almost couldn't remember what this water falling from the sky was! Tried wishing and blowing it toward Houston which must have worked (right?) since friends from H-town have been excitedly fb'ing about rain all day.

Arrived OK City. Visited the site of the April 1995 bombing before heading to hotel. I hadn't seen it since the new memorial was built. The Jesus Wept sculpture (back turned) to the site is really powerful. Delicious Mexican (Fajitas for me!) dinner with Brian and Melissa downtown on the Waterway. It's designed like the San Antonio Riverwalk and they did a darn fine job. Cooler here with nice breeze - enjoyable long walk (one ice cream stop) after dinner.

Now heading to the spa downstairs and then to bed - expecting to sleep well in prep for V-Day 5.
