2005-08-11 9:43 PM Joy unconfined After yesterday's catalogue of summer joys less of the grumpy old chap and let's have something a little more uplifting shall we?
Well I submit the following for your amusement "Subject: Fw: Thought of the day Date: Wed, 10 Aug 2005 09:10:59 +0100 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in, and then, as they say, the trouble started." Well good for you Larry! Lets have more fascinating tales of troubled internments. Death after all is just the punch line of a cosmic joke that starts with a bad chat up line.
