I was looking at good schools online for my son and it got me thinking about the Carden School I attended in Del Mar, California. (San Diego's Del Mar, not Corona Del Mar) It has since closed, but if it was not for the Black family (Mr, Mrs and their two children) and the phenomenal educators at this K-8 school, I honestly don't think I would have had the foundation to accomplish what I have. My parents gave me a great moral base, but the education portion at home was non-existent. Unfortunately I can not find any information on my former educational institution as it was bulldozed may years ago. So, this is just a little note to all of those out there who do Google searches under the subject of Carden and Del Mar: Drop me a line and let me know your story. I was there from 1st through 8th grade. I got there in 1979 and left (obviously) in 1987. So give me some info!

For everyone else... are there any good private schools in the area? Preferably not too religious. I want my son to make his own decision about religion when he is old enough.
