This subject is actually two-fold: A. If you live in the New York or Jersey area and want to see me doin' my thing, "Frappucccino" opens this friday. If your interested and don't have a postcard, please post a comment including your email address and I'll send one electronically. Those of you who I know are planning to come...let's face it. It will feel like your hiking Everest! Once your almost to Coney Island, you're there. :) B. My commute from Brooklyn in the mornings is...interesting. Especially this morning. I get on the 9th street stop going Manhattan bound and I happen to stand by the one snarfer in the world that wants to share her cold with everyone. I really loved the part where she wiped her nose, then gracefully put her hand back on the railing. I was trapped until Pacific street...the longest two stops of my life! I switch at Pacific for the 4 train. (Mom pay attention. There will be a quiz later :)) As I'm switching, I hear this guy in the station yelling "Save Jesus" when it sounded like he was saying "Save Cheese"! I giggled all the way to the stairwell where people apparently made 5 lines going up and down the stairs rather than the normal 2 or 3. Finally the four train comes. Naturally, it's packed. I get to Borough Hall. This woman decides she must enter the train and for the remainder of the ride into Manhattan, her purse pushes into my uterus. All in all, the trip wasn't so bad because I'm able to drown myself into reading "The Hours".
