I can say that without a shadow of a doubt I officially suck. I don't usually rant on the negative except that I'm having a day.

My audition time slot was at 8:30pm last night and I got there ready to go and 1 hour and 1/2 later...I was seen. I've never waited that long to be seen unless it was an open call. This was an equity showcase...it was so unpofessional. Anyway, I kept my energy up. Did my warm-up, streches, ran up and down the stairs several times to wake my body up and waited...and waited...and waited...


Once I made it into the room itself, I chatted a little bit but remained focused and gave it all I got. The director commented that it was good work. I think he meant it. But I wasn't impressed with myself, how should I expect them to be. The stamina it takes to put a show on...if you're not even seen until an 1hr and 1/2 in the show you have to live and die with vitality and I was really disappointed in myself last night.

All in all, it was nice to meet Kristin Linklater...that was a complete honor. I wish she saw me under better circumstances....hopefully there will be a next time. Just gotta keep getting up in the morning and hope something comes along.

Got an audition for a TV pilot at lunch. I must say I'm looking awfully cute. Let's push for better luck with this one.
