Okay so these are clearly two separate entities I just thought it sounded cute when combined.

My favorite band in the entire world "They Might Be Giants" played at Irving Plaza this past weekend and I caught their saturday night show. Unfortunately, Travis Morrison opened for them and aside from the fact that he looks like the cute Polish kid from "Under the Tuscan Sun", his overzealous repetition of the word "Yea!" is enough to drive anyone mad. Not my kid of band.

However, John Linnell and John Flansburgh (They Might Be Giants) completely redeemed them with yet another beyond awesome concert. The most unbelievable thing happened. At the end of the concert, John Flansburgh acknowledged certain people in the audience. HE ACKNOWLEDGED ME! Ofcourse, the dork I am...when that happened, I turned around with the rest of the crowd to see who he was talking about. When I saw everyone staring at me...it hit me. He called me the girl in the cute green shirt. I'm cute!

On another note, if you're in New York or like rock opera's, "People are Wrong" is playing for a limited time at the vineyard theater and is starring the very own John Flansburgh. You can go to vineyardtheater.org for more information. I'll be there opening night!!! Please do go see it if your in the city because most of these shows are based on...well ticket sales and this is my "husband in another life" 's broadway debut.

Okay...part deux:

"Desperate Housewives" premiered last night. It's a Sex and the City meets the Stepford Wives kinda motif. I enjoyed it. These actresses seemed to have gotten work in the past but haven't ever really been appreciated...if that makes sense. Sometimes I say things in my head that seem to make a lot more sense. Anyway, it was...quirky. Hard to judge just yet. But it's fun.

Happy Birthday to my brother Jason who turned 28 (?) yesterday. Is that right? I seriously can't even remember my age right now. Mom, help? I'm 26 right? right? Ugh.

On a personal note, things have been going really well with the agency. I booked auditions for 2 national commercial for 2 new clients last week. Many auditions I'm booking are in L.A. Might be time to take a trip out there.
