Years ago, when "Closer" appeared at the Royal National Theater in London, I was one of those lucky few in the audience.

I remember as I was walking into the theater, I saw Nicole Kidman taking her seat and overheard her say something that she was there to see Sally...Sally Dexter that is, who played Alice in the premiere. Clive Owen who stars in the movie, created the role of Dan at the Royal National Theater. How awesome to be able to be the first one to play a role and then be able to re-connect with it on-screen.
