So I was informed yesterday that the shoot for the feature was cancelled because the producers cut the scene from the film. This is the SECOND time this has now happened to me and is such an unbelievably unfair but unfortunatly realistic part of this business. I've had two good chances to get my SAG card...the first was when I was cast in a third watch episode and the second is this movie as a line dancer....both would have given me serious exposure and a SAG voucher. At the moment...just trying to run with the punches.

The good thing that came out of this is I met two wonderful casting director/managers that are very interested in working with me...Sean and Rita Powers. They got me an audition on Monday for a Bollywood feature where I would have lines so that's awesome if I get it. It would be non-union but it's always great being able to work close to the casting people as they can teach soooo much. So I'm REALLY looking forward to this new relationship.

Other than that, things have been going great. Preparing for a linedancing summer. Other than line dancing tuesdays and country saturdays at Connollys, we're having our first dancing under the stars at Tavern on the Green on June 8th. I sincerly hope all New Yorkers will plan on attending as this is such an AWESOME event!! Also, July 21-23, my girls and I are heading upstate for a linedancing weekend - 24 hours of dancing with some of the world's greatest teachers. Very Exciting! The following weekend my parents are coming to the city to celebrate me turning one year older....that's right I'll be a whooping 29!
