Hi folks:

So, first of all I have to thank my mom for in the very late hour last night helping me pick out what I should wear to the audition today. It shows what a small world acting really is. As I got to the audition, I saw my old husband from "Macey". He was walking out as I was walking in so that was fun.

The audition's for "Personal Insurance Capital" and is going to be like one of those low budget badly acted law commercials usually ending with the guy with really bad hair as the injury lawyer telling you to call a 555 number. However the experience itself was fun. I was an injured out of work evicted individual. It's so funny though. My first read-through, I thought I was very clear and enduring and the client stopped me in the middle and said he wanted more of a build....which is what I thought I was doing. THEN, he decided to do a "read" of exactly how he thought it should sound. At that point, I realized it's just a freakin commercial, whatever the client wants he should get (within reason ofcourse), and I just wanted the job. So I swallowed my pride and read it exactly as he did. They loved it. He gave me a few more notes, did the read two more times, and they were thrilled.

Called my fabulous Casting Director, Ms. Rita Powers, to tell her how it went and the first thing out of her mouth was "They loved you!". I told her that's fast....I just walked out of the audition 10 minutes ago. She was referring to my callback the other night for the corporate executive part in the feature. She's hoping to hear something soon for one of these things. I'm not celebrating until I get a contract in hand though. In the meantime, I'm really enjoying all the auditions.

Up next...

Tomorrow, audition for the American Globe Theater

Tuesday, audition for a short film
