So GREAT NEWS... "Don't Worry Be Happy" is being released nationwide in February 2007. So be sure to look for the mean executive woman. That would be me. :) Thank god for all the corporate work I did over the years. I had tons of inspiration. :)

I had such a great time at the shoot yesterday. The cast and crew were all so nice and supportive. Plus, it zipped by. My call was at 10am at Newark Airport. I arrived about 9:20am as a responsible actor should and everything went like clockwork. After I arrived I met with LA, the Production Assistant and she was fabulous! She introduced me to everyone, offered to steam my costume, escorted me to hair and makeup which is where I ran lines with Marissa the hair lady. At that time, my clothes were officially steamed and I got dressed and headed up to the set. That's where I met my wonderful co-star who is the true STAR of the movie. He's like the Tom Cruise of Bombay except production companies like him. It's so nice having your scenes with the star of the movie. Sean was so humble and we worked really really well together. I actually used a tool that I learned in a workshop last year. It's so important when working with a star in a scene to tell a great story but not upstage them. This scene is actually really pivitol to his character and hopefully was able to give him what he needed without taking attention away from him. We did one rehearsal, two takes, a little B-Roll and I was done for the day. He and the director came up to me after the shoot and told me they really enjoyed the work I did in the scene. We just worked really well together which makes me even more excited for our next three scenes when we film those. And I love love LOVE when directors work fast and know what they want.

When I signed out for the day, I got my first SAG Voucher. It's beautiful. Looking forward to Day 2 for the remainder of my shoot.

There's nothing like working in your element and knowing you belong there.
