So, I had my audition for the history channel today and I was really starting to sweat this whole westchester mom thing. I brought in a few wardrobe choices to my friends at work...aka my fashion consultants...and we ended up going shopping. However before shopping I did walk around the office and see what people were wearing to see if I could borrow their clothes for an hour. No such luck. So with the shopping actually with all I was finding, the only thing I bought was a longer string of pearls and a headband. So I get back to the office and my friends are helping me piece together something that looks good with what I had. It was a slow day at Guardian. So I had someone on hair, someone else on makeup...I felt like I was back on set. I ended up wearing my red dress with a red cardigan draped over my shoulders, all my pearls, my new headband, and my black fabulous heels. Naturally it all accompanied my coach bag. So I got there 1/2 before my time slot but they were able to see me early. It was a reaction shoot. It was basically I was in the audience watching my kids acting up in a Thanksgiving Play. I pictured Snickers as a pilgrim. :) He'd be a great pilgrim! The casting director laughed at a few faces I made so I think that was good. I think they're shooting next week so we'll see.

I'm back at work and exhausted...and should probably get back to work. :) Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
