Had my audition yesterday for the National "Dodge" Commercial Voiceover. I did two takes and was really proud of the work. Of course if I get it, I won't be able to hold off joining SAG. Which isn't a bad thing..I've just been getting called for so much non-union work. I'm just going with the flow. I'm really feeling the hustle with this business. I love that I've been getting a ton of auditions and the work has been picking up...I'm just so freakin exhausted between that and my full-time day job. I need a serious nap.
So, my bestest girl Ryan came to meet me in the city after the aud and we had such a scrummy dinner at Tony's DiNapoli's. I love that place...always a fan of a joint that serves huge portions with gay waiters...a plus for Ryan. :) I enjoyed the food anyway. Then we headed over to the bar for a night of boot dancing. I dropped him off at the Lucky Star Bus this morning. This is the most awesome thing. Let me start off by saying I'm not a fan of buses not because I'm a snob but because I got raging ill after a ride on one. So if I say this deal is awesome, it's gotta be spectacular. Chinatown is apparently the place to do one day getaways for super cheap. They have muliple bus services that go from Chinatown NY to Chinatown Boston (for instance) for $30 roundtrip!!! There are also buses to Philly and DC. So it boils down to it's cheaper to go to Boston than to Connecticut. Atleast on this tour. From what I hear, they do a pit stop for Chinese Food 1/2 way through the adventure. How exciting!!! Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
