As promised, here's my review of the NYC downtown restaurant...Captain's Ketch.

It rocked.

Simply that. As I mentioned in an earlier entry, this week is downtown restaurant week. Their menu was basically either a soup or salad, an entree, and a desert for $30. First off, the portions were an awesome size. I had the fresh green salad, the lobster ravioli and the chocolate torte. The cute boy sitting across from me had the caesar salad, the tuna, and the cheesecake. All of it ROCKED! You have no idea. Last year during restaurant week I went to Delmonicos and everything was such a disappointment. Regarding the decor and space, very very trendy. I was very impressed. The bar fills up with lots of corporates. Wednesday is Martini night. Think I'll go for Thursday where it's ladies night and you get free pasta. :)

Love those carbs! :)
