I had this amazing opportunity this past Friday to be the lead hostess for the feature film "Guru" which premiered at the AMC in Times Square. It was an exhausting day but a lot of fun. I escorted the two leads, Abhishek Bachchan (Abs) and Aishwarya Rai (Ash), throughout the press conference at the hotel, had my own personal security guard, rode in the limo with the stars to the theater, escorted them to their seats via the red carpet, made an early getaway from the theater back to the hotel via limo and tucked them in their rooms for the evening. They were so exhausted. The day before they had flown from a screening in Canada and before that directly from India so these guys had been on a plane for quite some time. But enough about them. I had my first red carpet experience. Actually the New York Times reviewed the movie today and there is a fabulous shot of my hair!

The press was all really great. Some not as behaved as others. They kept taking my picture. The reporter from the NY Times was yummy. Hoping to run into him again. Maybe at my premiere in April. My dress was looking fabulous! I was so out of place though. The only blond person for miles. Maybe I'll be the next blond bomshell of Bollywood. Wouldn't that be an interesting way of getting exposure. Hmmm.
