Sorry this is taking like a billion weeks to do. I'll nail out the rest today.

MOVIE REVIEWS...

Shooter - Awesome!
I love the contrast when people get blown up in like snow-covered places. Makes for awesome cinematography. The red against the white. One of the best illustrations was in "Vertical Limit"...love Robin Tunney. Brillant! Anyway, Shooter is a full force action thriller with all the leading ladies ending up in their panties...as all action thrillers do. That was pretty predictable and clearly was the reason I went. Anyway, Mark Wahlberg somehow made a devastating story...very, very funny. He was very entertaining. Regarding the story, it was interesting seeing the life behind an armed services sniper. It's not as boring as I'm probably making it sound. Since my grandfather was a prisoner of war, I've always been fascinated by the multiple stories of the armed service men and women. Appreciating something you will never fully know about or experience. At least me. My weapon of choice is a sword and I think the enemy would die laughing if they put me on a battlefield. Snickers would be a wonderful general. He'd look adorable in armor.

The Wind That Shakes the Barley - Ta Si Mor!!!!
Ah...Cillian Murphy. Yum. There is sooo much happening in the early 1900s of Northern Ireland and this film managed to focus on the "simplicity" of the divide...The War of Independence. If you have a weak stomach, this is not the movie for you. This movie makes "Shooter" look like "Dumbo". Great, great story.

An Inconvienent Truth (DVD) - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
If you haven't seen this movie, you must go now! There was so much I learned from watching it. I knew things were bad, people are generally lazy and we pretty much are using up all our resources but didn't fully understand the aftereffects. It's pretty astonishing.

Dukes of Hazzard (DVD) - HIGHLY SKIPPED!
Being a huge fan of the series, I was looking forward to this movie but they decided to modernize it and punk it out. It was just like ever other movie whose audience is the teenage boy. It was pretty unbearable to watch, but it's like I couldn't Not watch it. Ugh. That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. Snickers had the right idea and just slept through it. :)
