I could not stop laughing the first five minutes of this flick. This was an awesome family, feel good movie. Pretty much the male version of "Sex and the City" set in the country...but very good and extremely enjoyable.

Steve Carell plays a single father of three pre-teen/teenage girls who writes a column about just that. I LOVED the growth of the daughter/parent relationship. Ofcourse his "family values" start to creep out the door when he meets the fabulous Juliet Binoche who happens to be dating his brother, the gloriously GORGEOUS Dane Cook. The relationship between the brothers is hillarious. Norbert Leo Butz is so brilliant. Dianne Wiest and John Mahoney play Steve's parents...an interesting combo. Emily Blunt has such a fun part in this. She plays the formally pig-nosed fan of Steve writings. Ofcourse when they meet up years later for a date, she's gorgeous! She's been playing many American parts lately. I miss her accent.

Anywho, overall a feel good movie with a somewhat flawed storyline but the strong acting and the fact the actors were having such a blast in this story made this film a real heart warmer.
