So, it's official. They now on-strike and I really hope this union gets their just reward. I just hope it doesn't take them to long to negotiate the terms...this affects so many people that are now going to be unemployed. I agree though in today's technology they should be compensated residuals for the service they provide when their work is broadcasted over DVD's, streaming video and downloads on the internet. Like in re-runs. They aren't seeing a percentage of this profit. Good writers are invaluable and should be treated as such.

Money is always such a tricky thing and there should be "Allocation Awards" for those who do it well. I'm still waiting to get paid for fight directing and choroegraphing my recent run of "Macbeth." Maybe I should go on-strike. One less Bollywood Blonde in the world. :(
