In celebration of Shakespeare's birthday, the Shakespeare's Sister Company is hosting "Birthday with the Bard!" at the Hudson Guild Theater on Monday, April 26th. We are seeking entertainers and performance artists who already have acts in place that can throw in a Shakespeare twist. For example, a group of dancers re-enacting the romeo and juliet balcony scene in a short ballet. This will be a great venue for you to feature your act and get a lot of exposure. We need people to be very creative. This is a tribute to Shakespeare's birthday and we want it to be spectacular.

How long is your performance piece?
Sets/props involved? (please note: we will give you an empty stage. Any sets, props and costumes must be managed by your group)

Include photos of your act and/or members IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL (Attachments will NOT be opened)
Website documenting press of performance (if previously performed)
Union Affiliations (if any)
Any issue of being photographed or videotaped for archive press of the Shakespeare's Sister Company event.
All groups are required to invite atleast two people to attend the event. No comps will be distributed.
You must be available for at least three evening rehearsals (dates TBD), as well as dress/tech (4/26 - 5:00-7:00pm) and performance (4/26 - 8:00-9:30pm)


We will be having auditions in the coming weeks. Please contact us no later than Saturday, February 13th for an audition slot. There is no pay for this project.
