2006-01-16 10:27 AM MIA ok, i've been missing for a few days. life just catches up with you, what can i say. my apologies to all.
first things first, rt: yes, that is a picture i took of the ever changing north carolina sky. it had been sunny all day and around dinner time, storm clouds came strolling in. i love my north carolina skies! also, i'm sorry about your bears. coming from a state that never had a pro team, i used to root several, the bears being one of them. i was torn, because it's been so long since the bears have been where they're at now. but in the end, i have to root my panthers. however, i'm not sure they can overcome the seahawks, but then again, i didn't really think they'd get this far. now on to general things, we had a lovely weekend. being kidless is a great thing. lol... we had no vehicle(the hoopty has finally been fixed) so we walked over to the drug store for supplies. omg, the wind on saturday was awful. mark had on short sleeves, and i was all bundled up in layers and the wind was still killing me. when we were almost home, we'd remember that we'd forgotten our firelogs, soooooooo, we walked back over then stopped off at feista maya. instead of our usual dos equis, we each had a margarita. but we were both so full from out dinner(subway...yay!), that we didn't stay long, and came home to crash out. sunday we watched the games. so nice to see the colts faulter. and i finally got my burger madness at midtown...yummy...then we came home, lit a log ate candy while we watched the panthers play.(oh my god, so much candy. i think i gained 10 pounds.) i hope ya'll's weekend was as lovely as mine!
