lol...well, that, i guess, is more for me, as the iceback stopped reading this long ago (too ummm, stressful for him...haha)

but today is our anniversary...12 years, and still counting. we've known each other about 15 and been together about 14 and a half.

it hasn't all been roses and sunshine, no marriage is, and anyone who says different is either lying or in denial.

when you spend a lot of years together, you're bound to hurt the other person (and vice versa) the tricky part is getting past the hurt and resulting resentment, and moving on to forgiveness. that is often easier said than done and too many people just give up. we're both pretty stubborn and i'm not sure if that works to our advantage, or works against us. i guess time will still tell.

since he's been working 12+ hours a day, and got up at 3a.m. this morning, tonight will be a short celebration. a few beers at our favorite watering hole (yes, fiesta maya).

tomorrow night is when we decided to celebrate. a nice dinner out, maybe somewhere lakeside with a patio, and either an indie movie or a comedy show, we haven't decided which yet.

so folks, tonight, tomorrow, the next day (and etc)...
