2007-11-06 5:36 PM good things do come to those who wait i've been waiting an awful long time, but hey, got a graphics job this week because dammit, i believed in myself. may have a "new" car. only cause grandmother is sick and doesn't need it anymore, but i will not only get a new car, but get my time to say "goodbye" to her, as i don't really expect her to last much longer in the nursing home. she's not really a "nursing home" sort of person. and whether consciously or subconsciously, my grandmother will not be "down" with the nursing home thing. she's always been just too strong and independent a woman (which i was told recently i was...damn me for being "too independent")
i'm afraid to be too optimistic, things seem to be coming together and excuse me for saying so..but damn, i am good at what i do. regardless. things are coming together...got my new place almost in place. got my other pissy-ass minor things taken care of. life is almost good...almost, only because i always put someone else's dreams before mine, and mine weren't thought of very highly...but it's time to FINALLY put me first, and that kind of feels good...i always thought i did that before, but i guess i didn't. everything is relative, isn't it? much peace and love to ALL! ;-) Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
