2009-10-01 1:21 PM Fall is in the Air I can feel it coming, in the air, tonight. hold on.
LOL how do i know fall is in the air, how does fall enter the air in the central florida barrier island coast? well, it's not 95+ degrees, more like 85, and the air isn't as breathtaking as it is in the summer. in a few more weeks, the snowbirds will begin their yearly migration down and our streets will once again be clogged by massive amounts of people who can't drive and our stores flooded with people who return half a head of lettuce while insisting they should get their money back. yesterday, military jets flew this way and that overhead preparing for an airshow today. it was pretty cool, watching them tear through the sky doing loopty loops. they flew pretty close, close enough to rattle the windows. i took miss thang to the beach last night. paratroopers were going to land close the the pier and so i had hoped to get some shots, but sadly it was too dark for my camera to work. but i did manage to make it in time to see four bright lights falling through the night sky. i'm assuming, it was them. my friend's son showed up and we played with Asche in the surf. she's really good. she'll go as far out into the ocean as i do. in just a few weeks, my baby boy will turn 21. really, where did the time go?
