2009-10-25 10:41 PM Kitty adoption z is horribly allergic to cats but he loves them. he would always go to friends houses with cats and come home with his eyes red slits and his nose horribly stuffed up. but he LOVES cats. he has since he was little.
so tonight we find a kitten with a little pink/red collar with a red bell wandering around, climbing the utility pole. well, i like cats too, so i took the little girl home. so far the kitty is giving Asche a run for her money, but i think eventually they will get along. i will make a flyer and post around the neighborhood to see if the kitty does indeed belong to someone. seeing as she has a collar, she just might. but it's hard to tell around here as we have so many ferel cats roaming around. for now, i'll buy a whole bunch of benedryl for z-man and we've named her Streifen. striped in German. we considered Staub, which is dust and Asche is ashes, so it'd be ashes and dust. but Staub is not a pretty name. so we went with Streifen. she's little and she's cute. i told z when he moves out i swear, i'm going to be the woman who has ten dogs and twenty cats in her house.
