LB's DCP (day care provider) went on vacation at the same time that I did, so I got to spend the full two weeks with LB, and I'd say at home, except we weren't at home all that much. Here's what we did (let's see if I can remember it all).

Saturday- We gamed with our usual group.

Sunday- We stayed home, I think.

Monday- Phil took a day off of work and we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach-it was fun and LB had a good time, seeing all the fish and other animals, we have some great pictures that I haven't posted yet, due to our down internet connection-but that's not an LB story.

Tuesday- We had friends come over here to visit us and we played outside and had lunch.

Wednesday- We went to Redlands to visit Karen, Kate, & Liz. Patrick, Kevin, & Bethany came down to visit too, it was lots of fun.

Thursday- We visited Phil at work, then had lunch with grandma and grandpa.

Friday- We went to Magic Mountain, now occasionally LB says something about going to Magic Mountain. He had a blast, loved the kiddie rides we took him on and the carousel. He also hugged Tweety Bird a LOT, and then groped Tweety Bird, but not on purpose.

Saturday- We had Christmas dinner with Nana, Gramps, Uncle Matt, Uncle Michael, Grandma, Grandpa, and a bunch of other people.

Sunday- We went to visit Great Grandma in the hospital.

Monday- We stayed home except for picking up my car from the mechanic-another story not for this venue.

Tuesday- We met Willa, Martin, & Connor at the mall (and their moms too) since it was very rainy. Then we went to toddler group at the hospital and saw Teri and some other kids most of whom I didn't know.

Wednesday- We went to story time at the Montrose Library-it was cool, I wish we could do it more often!! Then we went to the pet store to see birds and rabbits and fish and turtles and lots of other animals, then to the toy store and then to lunch.

Thursday- We went to Martin's house to play, and there were lots of little ones there- Connor, Katrina, Willa, Ariel, and Martin, of course. I think I got them all, but I may have missed one or two.

Friday- We stayed home during the day but then went to Evan's house for a quick drop in on a New Year's Eve party, then came home and had a party here, most of which LB slept through, thankfully.

Saturday- We watched a bit of the Rose Parade and then LOTS of football. Then we visited Great Grandma-now out of the hospital and then had dinner with Nana, Gramps, and the two uncles.

Sunday- We stayed home and played inside and outside some-it rained though so outside was only for the morning when it wasn't raining. Then mom went to dinner to say goodbye to Amy, who along with her son Evan and husband Tim, is moving to Ohio.

And tomorrow, it's back to work for mom and back to DCP for LB. The two weeks were fun, but I'm not sure I could do that full time. Maybe, and we had lots of fun visiting with our friends, but maybe not. I think part time work would be best, but I can't quite do that.
