Do you know how hard it is?
When I went into LB's room this morning, he said, "no get out of bed" but I got him up anyway. Then on the changing table he said, "no take off PJ's" but I did anyway, and got him dressed.
Man, I wish I didn't have to get him up at 6:15 to go to day care. It's killing me. Unfortunately Phil and I are both in jobs where can't easily take sick time. I have 100+ kids here who need me too, and we're getting down to state testing and AP exam time. But still, my little boy is sick and would clearly prefer to be at home with his mommy than at day care.
Sometimes being a working mom SUCKS!!
