Last night after his bath, LB needed to have all 20 nails (toes and fingers) trimmed before he drew blood from one of us. So I tossed him onto the bed and told him that he could watch TV while I trimmed the nails. He doesn't really like having them trimmed, mostly because I sometimes cut them a bit too close and it hurts a bit.

So I turn on the TV and what does he ask for? "I want to see the robots." That'd be the Rock'Em Sock'Em Robots commercial where they fight in the ring, one wins and goes outside and beats up on a truck, and eventually pops its head, losing to the truck. (obviously the commercial worked on me, I don't remember which brand of truck!!)

So then I spend the next little while surfing the tv stations not to avoid commercials but to look for them. Sadly, I was unable to find the robots for him. They were talking about CES on G4, and at one point had Asimo on and I told him that was a robot too, he was soooooo not interested. Oh well.

Guess he'll be happy this weekend when the football playoffs are on because I'm SURE he'll get to see the commercial then.
