Dad here....

The weekend was pretty much about LB's birthday, from the celebration at school on Friday, to the party in the park with kids beyond count (well, Mom knows exactly how many, but she's the organized one who pulled it all off masterfully and even got the weather to cooperate.) Tonight was dinner with the maternal grandparents and great aunt and uncle.

On the way home from which, this gem came floating from the back seat:

Happy birthday to myself!
Happy birthday to me!

And happy he was, pretty much all weekend except when he had to go to bed and not play with his new stuff(and even then pretty cooperative.)
