Need to get rid of 164 words. Whee. Reading bits of "365 Scary Stories" has been a help. I was feeling like I didn't have enough story, character, etc., but I'm feeling less paranoid now. It is a complete story, although not as good as it should be. Of course, nothing will ever be as good as it should be. I'm impressed with Karen Taylor's story, "Forever", and there's definitely a reason that Tom Piccirilli is in there several times. Started a second short-short story, but I'm not sure how it's going just yet. I've just been in that 'everything I write is crap' mood for weeks now. Bleh.

Hubby is out at a job interview, which I hope will go well. My contribution to the whole thing is getting the wrinkles out of the shirt and doing some light stressing. Good thing I never claim to be helpful, at least not with a straight face.

Currently Reading: selections from "Horrors! 365 Scary Stories"

Recommend: "Une Semaine de Bonte" by Max Ernst. It's not a novel, really, but it's always been a favorite of mine.
