It appears that I should check my e-mail more frequently than once a month. Two Cranes Press has released notice of an upcoming event -- Scattered, Covered, Smothered: An Evening of Literature and Food, Internationalist Books (Chapel Hill, NC), Saturday, February 26 at 7 p.m. The illustrious editor (is that subtle? :) ) has invited me to read a bit of my story. This will be my absolute first reading of anything outside of our long-disbanded writer's group.

*hyperventilates*

All better now. I've not been to Internationalist Books before, but Andreas reports it as a rather interesting place. This should be fun. If you're in the area, come on by!

In other considerations, it looks like I'll need to practice signing my name. How pretentious does that sound? I've held off on practicing my signature because it just had that high-school aura about it, but now it's become a consideration. Odd stuff.
