First day of spring? Ah, crepe!

Spring is as good an excuse as any to try out something new, so I made Grand Mariner Crepes. I've never made crepes before. Amazingly, I didn't screw it up. Although I only brushed butter on one of them (per the recipe) before deciding that it was completely unnecessary. Mmmmmm. Nothing like booze and sugar brushed on a nice, thin crepe. Later, I'll try the bourbon-basted salmon. The marinade seems a bit heavy, and the marinade time of one hour seems a bit long, so we'll see if this is one of those things that I have to amend.

Anyway, yay spring!
