Would it have been so terribly unfashionable for LeFanu to tie up all the loose ends in his stories? Yes, great, Carmilla's been beheaded. Now what about everyone else? You know, the "mother", the guy on the horse, the black woman in the carriage, the scary looking guys driving the coach...? And you have to admire someone who can sleep in blood, then sneak back to the house and not have a speck on her. Lastly (skipping over the rest of the rant), ok, hands up all of you who think Carmilla was pining over her lost husband? Anyone? Unless he wore dresses, I'm not buying it.

I've been a horrible slacker at writing recently. And editing. I need to edit two things, one of which I really, really don't want to. But it needs it. Yeah, yeah, somebody pass me the crackers and cheese for that whine. I should probably work on the thing that I started a while back...no, the other thing...I wonder if it's worse when I start with a title or an ending? Right now, they're both stalled. For now. It has been drawn to my attention that I haven't seen a frog in months now, and perhaps this is something I need to rectify.
