This Writing Life--Mark Terry

Yep, they're pretty old, the liner is torn up, and I typically wear them to mow the lawn, something I will be doing soon. Why? Because I'm going on vacation and I needed to wear something I won't take with me.

My oldest Big Dog T-shirt, ripped up shorts, and holiest underwear.

TMI, right?

Let's just hope that when I get back I can report on a movie deal, at least one book contract or another, and dozens of article assignments.

That way I won't obsess over the inherent problems with paying taxes quarterly, like, why do I owe more in taxes than I have in my bank account?

Ah, the glamorous lifestyle of the freelance writer.
