When Work Has Internal Roadblocks

I'm in Oakland at work today. This office is great. But lately there have been some communication difficulties. I am having trouble getting to talk to someone that I need to get critical information from in order to begin a large part of my research project. The person is guarding the information, and, I swear, thinks I will do something irresponsible with the info. once I get my little hands on it.

But I wouldn't dare, of course. I just want to get started on the blasted thing.

So I just left a second voicemail for her in two days. This was preceded by an email that went unanswered last week.

Sigh.

The weekend is looking dismal but I may try to get to the
deYoung Museum
opening bash on Saturday. There might be some good mingling to be had. The BART is open all night, so no rush to get back to the ebay so early as usual.
