I was confronted with a cold, harsh reality with regard to my research project I am doing for graduation. The client told me, this after 8 weeks of research, that they want a (drastically)different approach to the project.

So here I am, figuring out how to do that. The new approach is still basically asking the same questions but in a more generalized way, and it isn't using data or demographics to make a case. The new approach also is using a speedier survey approach. Which I am gleeful about. I was really dreading doing all these phone interviews.

I left work at 5 yesterday to shlep my bike out to Embarcadero to do the Halloween Critical Mass. The event was the kind of release I was looking for after the bad day at work. Plus, I had the foresight to bring along a bottle of Jameson with me. That proved to be especially treasured once we hit the Broadway Tunnel. People stop in the tunnel and kind of socialize and carry on.

There is pic on the homepage of that tunnel event.

Have fun this Halloween.
