So pretend this entry is dated October 30, 2005:
You see, I callously forgot my good friend Janine's birthday. There are reasons, although kind of lame ones, that this special day didn't register with the ol' memory.
Aside from those lame reasons, I wanted to this tremendous woman, Janine (a faithful reader here), a belated birthday greeting.
You're one of the people making the difference in my world today.
