Ted, turkey, and auto repair

First off, I want to express my great sadness for the retirement of THE SECOND TO LAST prime time news great, Ted Koppel. For some, he might actually be THE LAST. I am counting Jim Lehrer among this crew, but he's on public television so some fools may not count that as real television. When Jim he leaves broadcasting (almost too traumatic to think about), the world should rightfully mourn for many days and abstain from all television indefinitely.

Next, I want to report that the house is gearing up for the Great Turkey Caper, which is likely to leave several inches of grease in my kitchen for the next foreseeable few months. The dog will be thankful.

Third, I want to say that I am picking up my car from the mechanic today - they don't open until 10am - so the Fox will be available for use during the long holiday weekend. During which I will likely be found at home or school without many breaks.

Over and out. Happy Thanksgiving. Bless ye' all.
