Well, I just got off the phone with Clara at Trilogy. She gave me a few more notes, some praise at the changes I made, then said that this project was more for syndication (ie: UPN or SciFi) than for Trilogy -- they want more mainstream, prime-time material.

Ken asked me why she didn't know that before she read the rewrite, and I don't really know. Maybe she was hoping it would lean more mainstream, maybe in the past month they've decided (as a company) to skew in that direction. Net result is the same. A pass, but I'm welcome to forward other, more mainstream, material to them.

I've gotten some good notes, some reassurance that this is a good project with a future, if I can just find a home for it, and a renewal of faith in my talent.

Ok. Time to pick up the phone again...
