Sunset Division
The assitant wasn't sure if they were reading for Sunset Division, but forwarded me to one of the writer's voicemail box. She mentioned that the were looking for Crossing Jordan writers, but I'm not sure that they still are. I left word with the writer, and also left Jo-Ann's number in case he's more comfortable calling her back instead of me.

Kamelot
The project has been put on hold, so they're not reading. I am to call back in a couple of weeks, however, to see if they're starting to read again for other shows. Miramax TV sounded genuinely open to reading.

In other career moves, I went to a networking breakfast this morning which turned out to be not so good a fit for me. There were mostly actors there, which apparently is unusual, but most people seemed to be at my professional level. I want to find something where there are more producers attending. I may try again next month to see if the crowd changes with the guest -- next month's speaker is a development exec from a production company.

I did meet one producer who's done historical features, so I will drop him a line and see if he's interested in the period pieces I have available.
