Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Still waiting, still seeing One of my features, THREE HUNDRED LIONS, found its way to a producer in New York. I had posted a quick synopsis of it on www.hollywoodlitsales.com, and an independent producer requested it in late February. I hadn't heard from him, so chalked it up to a dead-end lead.
This same producer called me yesterday and we had a great chat. He asked for a synopsis and character breakdowns, so I sent them along. He's currently working on getting a Viking script to Mel Gibson's people, and the time period for LIONS interests him. He's also got a Persian War story in his pocket. He might be interested on producing LIONS. I indicated that I was interested in the Viking piece (since I'd done archaeology on a Viking settlement in Iceland) and he was interested in that. He's going to look at my stuff and possibly see if I might be suitable to be hired for "touch up" on the Viking story. I also offered to send other writing samples to him as well. We'll see what comes of this, if anything. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top | ||||||
