2003-12-03 2:16 PM WB News Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy I just got off the phone with the WB Writer's Workshop staff. They really liked the Smallville that Jennise and I cowrote, and we now have an interview set up for Sunday, December 14.
Woo! The way this works is that the submitted scripts are read and vetted. Those that pass the first muster (generally about 30 or so) then get an interview with the workshop staff. This allows the staff to meet the writers face-to-face and make sure they're people who would work well as a TV writer -- they have decent social skills and would be a positive asset in a team instead of scaring the team half to death. After the interviews, the staff will select the final participants of the workshop, which starts on January 7 through February 4. Participants in the workshop then have extensive help from the workshop staff to get on a TV staff the following season. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
