Feast or famine, it appears.

I think I've mentioned that Marc & Elaine Zicree run a roundtable for struggling entertainment-types of all walks to support each others' endeavors in breaking in and doing what we all love to do -- make movies (and TV shows).

Two ambitious folks from the group decided to go out there and get stuff done. They came up with the idea of "Project Create" where the talent pool to which they have access will get together and create a bunch of 3-minute movies. The distribution part they're still a bit uncertain on -- film festivals perhaps, demo reels for certain, and I've also suggested Amazon.com's new program, my short segment could be entered into the Cornellians-in-Hollywood film festival, as well as the new cell-phone route.

Oo. Tivo might be an option too!

Anyway, I decided to jump into the pool. Three minutes is DANG short! I've got three actors, a producer and a director, and now they're all waiting on my three-minute masterpiece.

To which end I've polled several buddies for story ideas in a quick brainstorming session for small stories.
