I spoke with Sheree this morning; she's spoken to Marina. Marina also thought the meeting went well -- she liked us. In one of those (I hope) Hollywood "right time, right place" moments, Marina went directly to a drinks meeting with a senior exec at NBC, and Sheree had just had a conversation with Ghen the day before. So hopefully, we made the "I just met these two GREAT writers" conversation!

Marina reiterated to Sheree that she thinks we're right for Fathom (a new NBC pilot), and I confirmed that we're also interested. Since we like to write genre, but love good characters, we'd be a good fit.

Side note: Sheree had a meeting with a CBS (?) exec who's in charge of Joan of Arcadia. He said Joan is on the bubble, and probably won't get picked up next year. But, that decision won't be made until the UpFronts, and our spec will still be good for the WB workshop.

Sigh. As long as we can get some mileage out of it -- we've worked dang hard on that story!
