Several nights in a row of staying up with sick Little One have taken their toll on my alertness level. I'm lacking energy, and I really need a good nap. Unfortunately, I can't nap while Little One is crawling around the house and pulling herself up on every piece of furniture she can find. She looks adorable as always, and I am enjoying my (napless) time with her.

I strongly doubt I'll get any work done on the writing front tonight, as wiped out as I am. I'll see if I can get a few words into my word processor this weekend.

I've been lurking on the IAF (Interstitial Arts Foundation) board for the past evening and day, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive interesting responses to my posts. The board is a cool little internet literary spot with very cool people.

Oh, I also had my flash fiction story, "Grasping for Immortality," accepted for the January 2004 issue of _Expressions_. It's not a paid sale, but that's just fine, as I have "published" the story already on Gothic.net's boards and my own journal site here (Lone Star Stories). I'm really pleased because Cathy Buburuz is the editor of the 'zine, and I'm happy to have something she likes for her issue.
