I received a rejection of a flash piece today from _NFG_ that I found amusing because the editor missed the fact that my protagonist was female. With a character name of Michelle, I would think gender would be obvious. Just shows that editors can skim with the best of them.

I revised "Gunning" quite a bit yesterday. I think the new ending works better, and it follows the preference of the first editor to reject the story, which she would likely appreciate.

I struggled with revising "Decision;" maybe I used up most of my creative energy fixing "Gunning." I may fiddle some more with "Decision" tonight.

Nothing terribly exciting to report, otherwise.
