I decided to send emails to Tim Pratt and Barth Anderson seeking stories for Lone Star Stories from them or from writers they respect and with whom they keep in touch. I don't know if I'll get any stories or responses from them, but I'm glad I did it. Marketing requires a bit of chutzpah after all.

On the writing front, still no real activity. I'm getting the urge to write again, so that may change in the near future.

I'm expecting a couple of responses to submissions of mine any day, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Work is developing an interesting twist. I may end up working at a law firm again if the compensation is high enough to justify the loss in flexibility and time away from my family. We'll see....
