I accepted an associate position with my old law firm, Mitchell & Colmenero, LLP, today. I'll get to build my own practice while earning a paycheck, and, eventually, become a partner if we all still like each other. Quite a nice feeling. If all goes well, I'll be able to spend more money, rather than just time, on Lone Star Stories.

I discovered this evening that "Elias" was not chosen for acknowledgement in the Ursula K. Le Guin contest run by Rosebud. Oh well. I like the ending of "Elias" that I wrote since the submission better anyway.

No new subs for Lone Star Stories, but I hope for more soon. In the meantime, I'm bumbling my way through a web site update for Lone Star Stories. Right now, it doesn't look all that great. More work to do....
