Today's Flashshot story, "At the College Fair," struck me as rather one-sided on a political as well as moral level, and it prompted me to write a response through a micro fiction piece that I titled "Meanwhile, Downstairs...." I ran it by Joseph Haines who liked it, and I then submitted it to Flashshot and learned tonight that it was accepted. I've never written a political-response piece of fiction before, and I rather enjoyed it.

I also submitted a couple of older stories to new markets today. We'll see how they do....
