2004-03-05 10:07 PM Oddments My daughter's first birthday is tomorrow. Wow. Time really skips along when you become a parent. I'll be curious to see how my increasingly long hours working at my law firm affect our time (and time with my wife, of course) together. If it takes too much of a bite out of my daddyhood, I'll have to make some adjustments to remedy the problem.
By the way, if any of you wonder why I don't name my baby girl or my lovely spouse here, it's out of concern for their privacy. If some random person really wanted to figure out their names, they probably could, but I'm not going to make it easy on them. However, people I know well enough are free to ask if they care to do so. The writing group that Joseph and I started a few days ago has acquired a name and four more members (for a total of five men and one woman -- any female writers interested should let me or Joseph know!). The group is called Critical MS, and I'll leave the names of the other members off for now, as I haven't asked them if I can post that information here. Joseph and I are extremely pleased with the quality of writing our new members produce. This should be an excellent online workshop. Joseph deserves the majority of credit for setting up the group online, and I get to pat myself on the back for asking Joseph if he wanted to start the group in the first place. Catalystic, that's me.... No news on the writing, submissions, or L*S fronts to report, although I plan on doing some of my weekend writing in the next couple of days. That's it from this end. Goodnight! Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
